Twenty-four letters have a genuine small capital in Unicode, mostly in Phonetic Extensions and IPA Extensions, because linguists needed them. Q and X were never encoded, so every small caps generator has to improvise. Small caps are among the best-supported of our fancy text styles, which makes these two gaps worth knowing.

Why small caps paste so reliably
Almost every small capital sits inside the Basic Multilingual Plane, so each letter is a single UTF-16 code unit and is covered by common phone fonts. That is why small caps often display where bold or cursive turns into boxes, and why they rarely eat into a character limit faster than plain text.
Where small caps works: Discord, Instagram and CODM
Whether small caps survives depends on the field, not on the generator. A username field usually accepts only plain letters, while a display name or bio accepts almost any Unicode character up to a length limit.
